| Bio: | I am a grammar whore. I'm not immune from my own criticism, either. I am positively anal about people putting forth some effort to communicate in an intelligent way, and this doesn't include cutesy little slang words, constant abbreviations or purposeful misspellings. Common mistakes, sarcasm, satire, or moderate use of abbreviations don't set me off, but whenever a person who completed highschool and is typing in their mother language can't be bothered to spell simple words out of sheer laziness, it makes me want to smack them hard enough to give them real brain damage, and thus an excuse beyond "I don't fell like spelling out the word 'are', I'll just type 'r' instead", for their piss-poor grammar. Nobody's immune from mistakes, and everyone jokes around, but people who consistently take a dump on language just because they can't be bothered with the effort to type three-letter words shouldn't be allowed to breed and raise a future generation of willfully stupid people. | ||
